Duck Football As Told by Nathan Bofto

This week in my following of #DucksSportsCulture I chose to focus on the Annual Spring Scrimmage Game held at Autzen Stadium. Football here at the University of Oregon is the most relevant sport among students. Football season is a time when school spirit is at its all time maximum. Students are excited about coming together under the lights to cheer on their favorite athletes.

The Spring Game offers a different kind of phenomena but still popular amongst students nonetheless. In this game the defensive players take on offensive players in a scrimmage play. Cost of entry into the stadium is a small donation of non-perishable goods. All ages fans are welcomed not just students. On a day like April 27th presented, fans from all over Eugene came out to support.

I chose to add clips of interview with my colleague Nathan Bofto. He is born and raised in Eugene and one of the biggest Duck Fans I know. I appreciated his willingness to share his favorite things about the Ducks and what he sees as important for Duck Fans.
