Brittany Nguyen

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAHi everyone! My name is Brittany Nguyen and it’s crazy to say it, but I am in my senior year at the University of Oregon and will be graduating after spring term 2014. I’m excited to complete a bachelor of arts degree in advertising and journalism with a minor in multimedia. I drink copious amounts of coffee (probably too much for my own good) and have mastered the art of 20 minute power naps. I interned in the advertising department of Fred Meyer this past summer. I designed the t-shirts that store associates are currently wearing, so the next time you shop there, check them out! At the end of the program I became a part of the creative team and will begin working there full-time next July. I hate being bored so I keep my schedule busy with a full class schedule, Ethos Magazine (I am the former creative director), Allen Hall Advertising and sorority life. I like to use my spare time running, crafting or shamelessly watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer reruns. I’m from a wonderfully boring suburb of the Portland-metro area and I’m hoping to live closer to the city after graduation. I plan to spend a solid month after graduation traveling, although I haven’t decided where. I can tell you that at this point, I’ve narrowed it down to 4 continents.
